This theme has a sidebar that has 3 links located on it, links, ask, and quote.

If you click on links it replaces the description with a link back to the homepage of your blog, your ask (with it being directed to /ask as default) and 6 optional links (if you wish to ad more please contact me through my theme or personal blog)

If you click on ask it takes you to your ask page (again, /ask being the default)

If you click on quote it replaces the description with a quote of your choosing, be careful not to make it too long.

If you want to change something in the html feel free but please do not mess with the js at the beginning of the coding as that is what allows the links and quote to replace the description.

this theme has 6 customisable links as well as a home + ask link.

the sidebar picture must be 200px in length and it’s height depends on the height of your computer screen but for me the best size is between 700px and 730px.

the description+links appear on hover of the sidebar.

there are two spots included to have a word with a blue background in the description (as seen in the live preview) you can choose the word by filling out the “bigletter” and “secondbigletter” spots underneath where you customize your links.

your “title” in the customize screen is the larger words always visible on the sidebar, your description is the first batch of words underneath the blue box, the “seconddesc” on the customize panel is the second batch of words under the second blue box.

So this is kind of like the part 2 of the PSD I posted earlier but I’m pretty sure this can also be considered a resources pack because there’s a tutorial AND a pack of over 300 textures.

This nice PSD eliminates all colors expect your desired color. 

I included a tutorial that will teach you how I made the image bw expect the one color so you can do it yourself!

Colouring a dark scene

Ever found an AMAZING gif/screencap that the only problem is IT’S FREAKING DARK AND HARD TO COLOUR? yeah, I feel your pain mah friend. 

In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to make a decent colouring out of a dark scene. 

In these kinds of screencaps, it’s really hard to make a colour porn colouring that works. Very hard. No, don’t think about Will’s kind of hard, you perverted little shit!

So let’s get started! 

When it comes to dark scenes, Screen blend mode is your ultimate best friend. So just duplicate the base layer and change the blend mode from Normal to Screen. You can do this as many times you feel like. But beware, don’t do this too many times because otherwise it can look very noisy. 

Personally, I’ve duplicated it three times and put it on screen. 

Yes, it will look a bit grainy if it’s very dark like this one, but, we can work with a bit of grainy. We’re going to fix it now! 

Create a Selective Colour Adjustment Layer. Go to the Black tab, and push the black option forward. +30 looks nice. This will get rid of the grain and add a bit of deepness to the gif.

Now, just to pump it up just a tiny bit, you can add a vibrance/saturation adjustment layer. I used +17 for vibrance and +12 for saturation. 

It is a very subtle effect/colouring but makes a HUGE difference in how pretty and eye-catching it becomes.

      Now just change your link “/ask” with “/faqask”. That’s all.
