imo people get too caught up in whether certain narrators in homestuck are "unreliable". homestuck spits in the very face of the concept of a "reliable narrator". there's a character who is literally an omniscience narrator who cannot lie and he still has an agenda

its always about how rose would want to therapize dirk, and like its sorta missing the point, she would LOVE to dissect his whole being his own dad thing, but like in the autistic way a person takes notes on a hyperfix. she aint helping him with shit. as soon as they have an actual heart to heart from a non disassociated lense, she has GOT to get out of there
