Remus would try for a mustache around James’ wedding. The results would be hilarious.

Peter’s soul colors would be orange, mustard, and brown. He would thrive in sweaters, mutton chops, and feathered hair.

who could out sweater Peter? The answer is of course REMUS LUPIN who would live it up in chartreuse and oatmeal and burnt umber with not only a cardigan but a secret turtleneck.

Note the not successful porn stache. Don’t be afraid! James Potter is here in bright red, dark brown, and navy blue! 10/10 the wide legged lapel boy. He’s the Tommy Hilfiger of plunging necklines and high waisted (probably checked) pants.

And Sirius Black, the boy in punk. Wearing basic white, blacks, blue jeans, he’s the most “normal” but likely over studded, over plaid, and stick straight gelled hair. Forget these cresting bangs. It’s fohawk or death.

even Lily Evans is not exempt. She’s probably okay in bright orange, baby blues, and bright patterns of pink/purple. She’ll wear jumpers and tall socks and trailing headbands and too much eyeshadow.

In honor of Kaidan Week 2019, hosted by @spectrekaidanalenko​, I broke out my sewing machine and made this pencil/make-up/travel pouch. (Not gonna lie, I’m pretty proud of it!) In addition, I will be giving it away as a prize for participating in the week. Details below the cut.

Kaidan had always prided himself on his control. From a young age he knew biotics came with responsibility. He had to work harder, be stronger, be better, if he was going to succeed. He had seen too many fellow biotics fail in a system stacked against them, and he refused to be another statistic.

His determination hadn’t come without sacrifice. Beyond his family, there were few others he’d call close. He had tried, once, and it had almost cost him everything. No. It was better this way, safer. 

He rose quickly through the Alliance Navy, and with each promotion he felt closer to something. To what exactly he didn’t know, but it always felt just over the horizon. So he kept working, kept reaching, kept everyone else at arm’s length.

The hard work paid off when he was finally stationed on the SSV Normandy. The Normandy, led by Captain Anderson. If he’d bothered to keep track of his dreams, this might count among them. But he still couldn’t lose focus, couldn’t lose his control. He’d earned a spot on the ship, but now he needed to earn his keep.

He was focused, he was controlled, he was ready for anything. Then he saw her. Commander Shepard: The Hero of Elysium. He’d only ever seen her in vids, and even then only in brief appearances. She was alone, moving quickly through the hanger, focused intently on the data pad in her hand. 

He considered introducing himself, but something tightened in his throat. Instead, he watched her pass in silence. Taking a distracted step, he misjudged the space and stumbled. He straightened up quickly, desperately hoping no one else had seen him.

Almost as quickly as the hope crossed his mind, it was crushed by the sound of someone slowly clapping behind him, “Well, well, I just lost 20 credits to Jenkins. Turns out you are a real boy.”

Kaidan repressed a groan, closing his eyes and taking a breath before turning to face the familiar voice, “Joker.”

An amused grin spread across Jeff’s face as he crossed his arms, “Just so you know, the Commanders not taking applications right now.”

“And here I was proud I’d made it on the Normandy.” Kaidan crossed his arms, “guess they let anyone on these days.”

Joker dramatically put a hand over his heart, “Ouch, Lieutenant.” He continued walking, “don’t worry, your secret’s safe with me.” he walked backwards, whispering loudly, “I won’t tell anyone you have a living, beating heart beneath all—that.” He gestured vaguely at Kaidan.

“There’s nothing to keep—,” the biotic began to protests, but Joker simply mimed locking his mouth and throwing away the key as he continued backing away.

“See ya on board, Lieutenant.”

The pilot turned around with a lazy salute, leaving Kaidan standing in the bay, one foot aboard the ship and one in the docks.

I have a friend I know from when we were both 6. She is the only person living nearby and so she saw me go from walking through limping to wheelchair on a daily basis. I keep her updated on my health even tho we rarely hang out anymore. She was gonna come over yesterday and I had to cancel. She asked if I can’t hang out later that day. When I said i won’t feel better later, that if I feel that bad in the morning later will only get worse she got annoyed and “joked” that I’m just finding excuses. And I was surprised, she knows all about me being disabled after all? So, a bit taken aback, I told her it’s a normal thing for me.

“But you got the diagnosis now, aren’t you better?? I thought you’ll get better now”

Mum: “So yeah, I was thinking that when I come down we could do visit an art gallery or a museum or something.”

Me: “I’ll have to see if I’m up for it, I’ve been going through a rough patch. I might not have the energy.”

Mum: “But you love art galleries.”

do everything right and still be sick. 

“don’t let your disability define you! Fight! INspirEd! Taking back my life from Cancer!” This narrative is everywhere in Able culture. If you JUST tried harder you’d get better. THAT is what they live and believe.

Kaidan: I want Shepard to break me apart like a chopstick.

Liara: *sighs* Same.

Both:...

Kaidan: If you don’t tell, i won’t either.
