"That seems fair," Caroline said. At least that's what her humanity tried to say. Fair, and so she stepped a little closer. "But you should know," she said, moving to place a hand on Hayley's hip. "Tyler and I will be broken up by the end of the week," she whispered softly. "I don't do well to men telling me what I can and can't do," she said and she already knew how her story with Tyler ended. In fact she was sure Tyler knew before her, she had to wait around for years to work it out. "Then we should get a drink," she said, pressing a soft kiss against the others cheek.

"Well mine tortured me in a basement trying to 'fix' me," she said with quotation marks. "And then died because he couldn't hand being a vampire. So I would say I have daddy issues as well." Caroline rolled her eyes lightly at him when he looked shocked. "Nothing we need to worry about now, I would just suggest you keep away from your sister, for your head and her heart." Literally. The thought caused her to laugh. "In fact, depending how things go with others in town, I might be in need of a siphon. So don't get killed."

"I'm sorry sweetheart," Caroline said, pulling her daughter into a hug, though the words were said with emotion, it didn't reach Caroline's heart. "All the confusion has got me a little out of sorts. But yes, I do think you should leave germany more than one a blue moon," she told her before moving to lead her towards the bakery. "Exactly," Caroline agreed. "Though I think we might need more then a few with everything going on."

"I am hardly here to make you like me," she said. "You can either accept that I'm fun or not." Caroline didn't care and maybe Rebekah had cooled it as a married woman, what did Caroline know. “Not that I know off. I just went into a shop I never went to in 2010, and yet it’s here and completely filled out. That can't happen in a chambre de chasse can it?” She questioned. "Yeah that felt insulting the last time I heard it too," she commented. Hayley would likely take that as Tyler say something similar but when Hayley had referred to her relationship as nothing more than teen drama. She recalled wanting to wipe the smile right off that girls face, though given where Hayley ended, Caroline just smiled at the result. Teen drama and all, Caroline had been the one left standing. "Trust me, I'm pretty much done caring about what Tyler thinks," she said. Though having him back in town, might make pretending a little harder to do. She smirked lightly at the other, looking her over. She wasn't wrong with herself, Hayley was cute. "Though if he had cheated on me, I'm not above returning the favor.."

Damon scoffed, turning his attention away from Caroline and looking around the street as if he was trying to find anyone else who could take his place. "As if you would do anything to help Elena fall in love with me. Last time I checked, I wasn't an epic love. Besides, I'm not even in the running anymore with Stefan back."

“Oh, I wish that was true,” she said with a smirk and bitter laugh. Given that the Damon she knew had been happily married with Elena for over two decades and her epic loves had all ended in death. “Epic loves ends in epic deaths. I won’t suggest that for anyone. Now as much as talking about your love lfe is, I do want to shop. So can you be a guy that tells me what looks hot, or do you want to go pine after Elena some more?”

Lizzie looked to the direction of her mother, her eyes widening. "I'm sorry, mother, but what exactly do you mean by not everything has to do with Hope Mikaelson?" She raised her arms up, motioning to everything around the two of them. "My whole life has revolved around Hope Mikaelson, including the school that was supposedly made for me."

“I made the school for you and children like you,” she corrected her daughter. “Plus, I wasn’t at the school worrying about Hope, was I? I was running around the world trying to save you. Whatever your father did, is something else,” she commented. “i have always cared about you more," she said. "Plus, right now, I could care less about Hope or anyone. Now, do you want to go shopping or not?”
