That is good. You never know how they’re going to fit in, and even if its not a huge weight, you still wonder about it.

Absolutely. I was worried about her, but she’s enjoying herself so I’m happy for her. 

It’s always hard watching your little girl grow up; I had to do it four different times and it never got easier. How does she seem to like it?

I’m good, can’t complain. Well I could but it would do no good. Just busy unpacking, you know the routine. How have you been though? It’s been a while since I last saw you and even that was brief.

Right? It goes by so fast. She’s loving kindergarten so far and has a lot of new friends, which I love for her. 

I do have drinks available all the time, so if your need for them is so bad, by all means, you know where I live and I’ll have the ice ready and the Martini shaken or stirred or whatever tickles your fancy. Oh, my weekend was just busy sitting with Netflix folks, since they suddenly had a few hickups for season 5.2 and since I am also a producer of the show now, I suddenly have to worry about that stuff, too. I am trying to figure out when to have the replacement party happen now. 

You’re going to regret making that offer. You’ll never be able to get rid of me now! Are you? Congratulations on being a producer, I had no idea. That must be very stressful, because you have to worry about more than your performance. I’m sure you’ll figure out when to have the party. The nice thing is that everyone here will be able to help you with anything that you need along the way. 

I knew I couldn’t count on you, miss Booze-Hound. You know, you could just throw a party and show me how exactly it is done. I mean, I do believe I know how it is … done. I am the party pope, after all. But I will make space for you to shine your light. Granted, I will always give you space to shine. How did you spend the weekend instead?

You made the mistake of promising me drinks. I’ll show up to anything for that. Well, I could throw a party but it is sometimes difficult for me to figure out places for my daughters to stay. That’s why I don’t. They’re much more comfortable in their own house. Thank you, I appreciate that. My weekend was spent cleaning the house and then falling asleep on the couch at nine o’clock. How was yours? 

I woke up this morning to not only Chris sporting a new look, but also Scott and CJ - luckily, I saved my Lisa from the same fate. The easy explanation, since CJ cannot grow a beard yet, he can at least sport the same haircut as his dad and his uncle…

I’m so not convinced yet.

I’m glad you were able to save Lisa and yourself from that absolute travesty of a hairstyle. How have you been, Sophia? We have to get the kids together for a playdate soon. 

I refuse to believe that, actually. You are such a pure, gentle creature, how can rebellion be in there anywhere? And hey, I get to be excited that the two of us are still hanging out and chatting after everything, so let me bask in the happy glow for a little bit. 

That’s a great question, and the answer is that I’m annoying. Seriously though, I was rebellious and mad at everyone and everything when I was younger. Of course! I don’t see why we wouldn’t be able to do those things. We’ve always gotten along well. If you need help with anything for the party, let me know!

I was absolutely a rebellious teenager. I’m the youngest in my family so I had to. The task fell on my shoulders. Exactly, the easiest way to get me to show up somewhere is to offer me free food and alcohol. You’ll find there’s very little I’ll say no to. Just like I told you a while back, I wouldn’t miss it. Your show is brilliant. 

Since it’s my birthday today, I wanted to show you this small thing called Free Rice. Have you heard about it? It’s a website by the UN World Food Programme, where you can doodle around and spend time in between to reply to trivia questions. With every right answer, you get a bit of advertisement on the side, which in turn will allow the WFP to fund food to poverty-stricken regions all around the world. So, if you have five or ten minutes in between, go to Free Rice and play around. It’s worth it!

Happy Birthday, Sebastian! I hope you had a great one! I’ll definitely be playing around with Free Rice! I think it’s an absolutely wonderful thing and a great way to help those in need. I love how creative people are getting with these kinds of things.
