Well, it can be for some, but that's not always the case. Your scenario supposes that it's fictional, where feedism is a real life fetish that people have and practice all the time. Also, it's not the antithesis of health advice. For some people, feedism is eating disorder recovery. That's healthy for them. A lot of people resist their body's natural set weight for the sake of thinness, and cycle dieting can lead to more weight gain, increasing their set weight. Feedism encourages more people to consider why they consider thinness the beauty standard, and realize they don't have to adhere to it. That's healthy. Feedism can bring some people gender euphoria, help them recover from body dysmorphia, and that's healthy. As feedists, it's important to be fat liberationists too. Part of fat liberation is health at every size, the belief that fat people shouldn't have to lose weight to be treated with appropriate care from healthcare providers. There are many examples where feedism is healthy. There are ways to gain weight in a healthy way, and even at high weights, to support your body and health in many ways. And even when feedism is unhealthy, that's not an instance of moral failing.
