LOOK TO THE WESTERN SKY

I just rewatched this movie. Growing up I was obsessed with John Green books, this movie and the fault in our stars honestly amazing.

Just realized that the reason I love making friends on tumblr is because it’s exactly how you make friends on the playground as a six year old. No, I don’t know their name but they love mermaids too and built this awesome sand castle. No, I don’t know their age but their imaginary cheetah is friends with mine. You like this show? You like this character?? You can sing the theme song really loud??? Here is a flower crown. Here is a juice box. You can share my time and I might never see you again but part of you stays in my soul forever. In my mind we’re still on the swing set and the sky is blue and nothing will ever be wrong again.

I finally found a better picture of this costume. Penelope is my favorite character, but I think Violet is my favorite Bridgerton. I'm so glad they gave her a romance. :)

Violet is absolutely stunning in all the scenes. I have to say I have been really enjoying all the characters development this season. I am so curious as to who is the new whistletown my theory is it's Eloise.

Can I just say I absolutely loved the bit where they showed Benedict playing with his brothers, throwing shaving cream around, and then immediately cut to the scene where Sophie was walking past that room when her friend was cleaning up the mess the boys made. Class difference masterfully shown without a single word being used. Lovely stuff.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas, maybe one day I'll get to experience a white Christmas with family overseas.

The old episodes from the 80s/90s are so packed full of amazing storylines and they actually did work! I'm actually obsessed and the storylines are incredible. I wish they brought this sort of thing back for 2026
