FRIENDS! I made it. My new story is finished. I'm a bit astonished it's finally ready and I think I'll cry. I completed the first draft in 2010 (which was 15 years ago, for some reason) and it was the first fanfic I ever wrote. I ended up losing my notebooks and completely forgetting about them until last year, when I found them again and decided to sit down and rewrite the story from scratch. I suppose this makes it my newest story, but in a way also my oldest.

I noticed the original war prize has a taller harry but had changed any plans on the original?
Yes, in the original comic Harry was a little older. Maybe 10-12. At first the comic was only supposed to be a couple panels. But as the plot unraveled in my mind and the ending came to me, I realized I would need to ret-con a few key details for a satisfying ending. Otherwise, there were some unsolvable plot-holes. There are several reasons Harry is now 6, but an obvious one would be his lack of magic fundamentals. The main reason I changed his age to 6, ties into the climax so my mouth is shut ;)

Hello ! Thanks for reaching out (and sorry I’ve been … missing…). I am 100% going to finish my fan comic. I’m working on the next chapter as I type this. I put the comic on hiatus for a year as I got my life together, but now life is together!

Hello! ...It has been a hot minute. I'm still here. I'm still rolling around the outskirts of HP fandom. I had a year full of life but I've officially picked up my tablet again and starting working on my comic. Only 6 more chapters to go!! This is where the story gets good >:D A couple reasons why I was MIA for a year:
1. moved into a new home and unpacked a lifetime of boxes 2. spent a good chunk of time training for a 10k. This was incredibly emotional and important for me. (if you know you know).
3. Got into video games for the first time in my life. oh my god what a time suck. ....had fun though.
4. Started socializing again. (if you're new here, I had a traumatic 2023 and self-isolated for a year). I decided to put fandom on the back-burner and focus on connecting with people around me. I made new friends. I'm having new adventures. I couldn't be more thrilled.
