Hello, its me.

I wanted to say that I've seen you like this before but it has been some time that is for certain. We have been together for 31 years and I've watched you in all of your forms, some better than others that is for sure. We have watched sunsets and sunrises together, however, we have never watched the moon rise or count the stars together, only if there is a moon bright and round enough for there to be light.

I watched you that day. The day we traded places and I became you. Morphing into someone else and someone who you never thought you would be. While the sun was high in the sky and so hot that it bleached your shirt, burnt your skin and melted your heart away, we traded places. Your breath leaving your body fully, and with the next deep breath I entered you. Never the same, you became dark and cold, living within the darkness that was once my place, laying in a hospital bed paralyzed by a shattered heart and a broken mind, you knew that this would be more dark than a night deep in the woods with no moonlight to guide you home.

Eyes watching you from afar and making you shiver, but you need to be accustomed to this now. This is your life, dark and alone right? This is how I have lived for many years and it is now your turn.

my dogs are happy and relaxed with me in the back yard

my husband is in the garage working

and im happy.

who knew in only a couple years both the dogs would be gone

my husband will be killed driving home

Yes, you came after him.

I was alone and sad.

I was waiting for his love to come back but death took it.

I found you and you lit a candle within my heart again.

But now you have left it to burn and with your eyes and mind too busy looking for pieces of him that i have left thrown about my soul, the candle has burnt down to nothing. just wax melted and squished together like rolls of fat and the flame has turned to simply smoke.
