A LITTLE EXTRA:

School's out for summer, kids! Today is the last day of the school year. Kids in elementary school have a carnival set up for when the day is done! Kids who are in junior and senior high have certificates to go play and have fun at the Fun Spot if they're up for it. And everyone… is done for a few months! But don't get too comfortable. School starts up again in Merrock on August 31st this year. Get ready!

Kindergarten graduation will happen at 3PM on Friday, with high school graduation taking place at the football field at 7PM.

Looking for a sweet treat? It's Donut Day! Bakeries and shops are encouraged to do specials for school aged kids (pre-K through 12th grade) on their last day of school -- maybe buy one, get one free, or if you have the ability, just give 'em a free donut to enjoy! After all, if they made it through the school year, they deserve something good!

The last day of Spring Fling is this Sunday! So make sure if you haven't gotten the chance to get out and explore, you take a little time to see everything there is to see and have a blast. For the kids, the last day of school is Friday, June 5th, with donut day happening at the same time, sooo. Maybe get them some sweets?! Have a great week, everyone! xx
