yeah maekar change sucks ass sorry … it is one of the (if not the only) noblest things he has done in the novella + egg disobedience can seem cool and all but in reality it undermines how much he listened to baelor’s talk of not using dunk as a pawn, even if unintentionally/without meaning harm + maekar trusting dunk could be written as a way of him coping with “the gods decision of keeping his feet” but alas. a good show.

really impressive to have that silent scene of egg and maekar be that emotionally charged. when he rests his head against his father, weeping and exhausted, and he holds his shoulder…. oh my god

can i be honest? i liked this episode more than the last, it has that calm bittersweet feeling of the books from when conflicts/battles end
