spring has sprung - happy vernal equinox! 🌱🌸
the spring (vernal) equinox occurs each year, usually on march 20th, when day and night are roughly equal in length. from this point forward, temperature and daylight gradually increases until the summer solstice. the spring equinox marks the beginning of aries season AND the astrological new year, which almost always coincide. the spring equinox also happens to coincide with ostara, a holiday celebrated by many pagans and witches alike.
metaphysically, the spring equinox is commonly associated with rebirth, new beginnings, cleansing, balance, and growth.
in terms of astrology, we have aries season and the astrological new year like i said above, but a couple more events include mercury going direct, and the waxing crescent moon in aries which is void of course until tomorrow when it enters taurus.

mercury direct in pisces - yes, the mercurial communication breakdown will come to a halt, but it could happen in a pretty dramatic and emotionally driven sort of way.
void of course waxing moon in aries to taurus - oftentimes when the moon is VOC, we leave it alone and avoid outward manifestation until it transitions to the next sign and forms a significant angle. luckily for us, the spring equinox is a time for soft renewals, not hard resets. if you abide by this ideology, you can always focus on themes of sowing seeds for future growth and manifestation instead of quick magic for immediate results.
aries is associated with energy, action, motivation, speed, movement, catalysts, and impulsivity
taurus is associated with stability, loyalty, grounding, practicality, domestic and home life, security, and comfort
