How to spot a "scammer" in the ABDL community
Hi! I'm Mouse & I've been in the community for a little over 10 years now. Over the past few years l've noticed a trend in the online scamming so I just wanted to take a moment to teach some of the knowledge l've learned & you can used this knowledge to practice good online safety! Please reblog so not just you will be informed!
✨ Most scammers will use apps like signal or zangi to scam you on! Typically they will tell you to DM them and they will give you the number to either of these apps... They are starting to become more trickier and come up with telegram/Whatnot numbers. If you feel like someone gave you their number and they are a known scammer ask for verification. Have them take multiple pictures doing certain poses or heck have them hold up the newspaper for that day if needed.
💓 If somebody messages you and says that you have to pay to be in the community. If somebody tells you that you have to pay for a license to post or have a potty license. This is false information. No one who is the actual community will ask you these things. This is the biggest red flag! Sex workers or artists are the only people I can think of who will provides services/ content (Please vet the people you buy from! I've heard of so many people being taken advantage of due to not looking for reviews!) If they don't have a JFF or even a throne as well. Most diaper peeps in the community have one or the other if they are actively posting!
🐁 If you see a post that you really like instead of just quickly liking it and re-blogging it take a moment to see who shared it. Do they have any info listed on their page? Is their age listed? Does any of the photos match? (For example do they all have the same person involved and if not is the person being tagged/ credited) These are good questions to ask yourself so you don't reblog something that's stolen!
🧃 Is their post watermarked if so does it match the account name? Most of the time people use the same username throughout all of their social media. For example, I tried to use Mouseabdl for all of my platforms now. (just with the exception of Reddit and JFF because those are harder to update.) Also if you post any kind of original content remember to watermark it! I didn't at first now I have a known impersonator on TikTok. They have stolen hundreds from people that I know of!
🐛 Next, look at the hashtags listed. When you see the hashtags are they using ones that don't really make sense? I've been seeing an influx of hashtags that are being shared for example naming all the continents with the word ABDL with it.
🥰 Another good rule of thumb is photo reversing on google images to see if it's been uploaded in other places and who is the original person! Normally these scammers don't spend much time on covering their tracks so they will use stolen images on here, stock photos or even random vanilla women on Facebook/ other places!
✨ If the photo or video is Al. A lot of content creators are against using Al due to the fact that people are using it to scam others & other reasons. (Recently to modify photos if that be to remove watermarks or make things look different so you'll be confused.) you can always check online to see if the photo is authentic! You can easily Google for Al authenticator website!
🍼 If they are posting on TikTok! Most people who are in the community do not post on TikTok especially diaper content because it goes against their Tos!
🐝 Tiktok does not like porn of any kind so if you're seeking it on there it's 99% a scammer who isn't even in the community.
🙈 These are just some of the things that I have noticed on what you can do to protect yourself from a known scammer. A lot of the time I'm noticing that they are portraying to be AB mommies but sometimes they will pretend to be famous ABDL models. please do not give ANY money or private information to someone that you do not know within the community. l've heard of so many horrible experiences lately of people losing hundreds to thousands of dollars because they truly wanted to believe the scammer was real.
If you made it this far enjoy this photo of mine as a good well done!:')
Follow these steps to protect yourself and your wallet! If you see a scammer report/call out & block them!!
