Mott Gallery is very pleased to announce our next show, "Illuminations," a joint exhibit featuring the art of Stephanie Kiah and Alice Husak. Both artists break the mold of traditional oil-on-canvas painting; Kiah's portraits incorporate mixed media such as lace, collaged paper, found objects, and jewelry, and Husak uses kinechromatic pigments with enamels in her glass landscapes, causing the paintings to color-shift with the viewing angle. Although these two artists use different mediums, their work shares an incredible energy and vibrancy. "Illuminations" is not to be missed! Opening reception Friday, August 28th from 6-9 pm. Show runs through October 9th.

Artist Carrie Yang, who will be selling work at our Pre-opening pop up art sale tomorrow! Come by from 12:30 to 6:30 pm..she donates 100% of the profits from sales of her elephant artwork to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust!
