Reblog if you are antifascist.
As you should be.
Welcome to the space age, ladies and gentlemen
This is really quite a big deal. A tremendous amount of modern research ends up being sold to journals which require unreasonable payments to access it and only pay the original authors a pittance. It’s nice to see an agency like NASA deliberately widebanding its findings.
Not sure if people fully realize just how big of a deal this is. THIS is how science is advanced. Not through biased corporate research, business secrets, marketing, paywalls and patent wars. But through open, uncensored and unrestricted public access to knowledge.

NASA IS GOOD, NASA IS GREAT
@osunism
NASA is the hero we don’t deserve.
This deserves every reblog.
@geh-is-okeh
In the face of institutions being silenced, this is doubly huge.
I love seeing that, for once, there are more reblogs than likes
Keep passing on this info, guys. Good job

Dear hearing aid providers: stop only advertising your hearing aids for old people - from a deaf 19 year old who’s used hearing aids since she was 7
Note: you don’t have to use hearing aids, or have any form of hearing loss to be able to reblog this
Deaf people using hearing aids should be as normalized as people with vision loss wearing glasses.
The idea that hearing aids are only for eldery also fuels the reasoning that health insurance companies consider them a luxury.

Two Weeks Left in the Recondite Hill Anthology Kickstarter!
Recondite Hill: Things to See is an anthology of horror comics based in the fictional town of Recondite Hill. This spooky town is everywhere and nowhere, full of strange incidents and even stranger creatures lurking in the shadows. It is, in essence, a love letter to those weird local stories about monster sightings, unexplainable events and forbidden places. These stories are captured in black-and-white grayscale on 110 pages of haunting comics and illustrations by 24 magnificent artists and writers. The goal of this Kickstarter is to cover the cost of any physical books purchased, and to pay the artists and writers for their work.
This book has been lovingly put together by a group of diverse, up-and-coming creators, many of whom are LGBTQ+ and/or POC.
This is the first book run by Jaci Menard and Steph Vinke: a writer/artist and editor team of queer women who love unique stories and spooky monsters. With the Recondite Hill: Things to See Anthology, they are looking to make their own mark in the indie comic industry.
We’re halfway through our Kickstarter run! We’ve added new limited tiers, so please check them out!
Below the cut you’ll find the list of our contributors, with links to their tumblrs/twitters! Give them a follow, they’re all amazing!
Please consider supporting us, and spread the word! Only 2 weeks left!

Gold Key’s GHOST STORIES had many great covers, but for my money, nothing beats Sam the Skeleton Man. 1978.
