I urge you to see this, it's SO GOOD!! I don't think I've ever heard or seen Shakespeare performed so naturally and flowingly, it's just *chef's kiss*!

#I have a few absolute favourites from the ones I watched for the first time last year #but if I have to just mention one #I think it'll have to be #Käre John #from 1964 - directed by Lars-Magnus Lindgren #I love that film so much

I am highly enjoying discovering Alan Bates's filmography, there are so many gems.

I am currently re-watching "Butley" for the third time. His character – the eponymous Butley – is such a vile character but so well written and acted to perfection by Bates!
