James "Bucky" Barnes - The Winter Soldier

Background: After Peggy disappeared he and Steve kept up the fight with what remained of HYDRA with the help of Howard Stark. Eventually he and Steve are outnumbered and out-maned, and are presumed dead when all they find of them is Buckys arm. In reality they were both captured, and over the next several decades are brainwashed and conditioned by HYDRA, given a version of the super soldier serum and made into deadly assassins. They are only brought out for the toughest of missions, otherwise and in cryo. But they are freed by Peggy after her presence stirs something in their minds.

Steve Rogers - Nomad

Gear: Duel vibranium shields, sidearm, knife, & tactical gear

Abilities: Enhanced: speed, agility, reflexes, durability & strength, ex military, expert in hand to hand combat, expert marksman, assassin

Matt Murdock - Daredevil

Gear: Duel clubs that can be connected by wire or turn into a staff & tactical suit

Abilities: Radar sense, enhanced senses, superhuman reflexes, expert in martial arts, expert in hand to hand combat, attorney at law

Background: Blinded at a young age by chemicals his other senses quickly filled the gaps, letting him experience the world in a very unique way. His need for justice and fighting spirit showcase themselves in two very distinct ways within him. By day he's an attorney, one unwilling to turn the other cheek or be bought by a bribe. And by night he's the protector of Hells Kitchen, the Daredevil. He was content to work alone, but now that he has allies within the Avengers he likes the idea of having a team to not only help keep New York, but the world, safer.

Kate Bishop - Hawkeye

Gear: Bow with custom arrows & tactical suit

Abilities: Expert marksman, training with Clint

Background: After seeing Hawkeye up close during The Battle of New York she developed a love for the hero and as soon as she could she took up archery. Clint truly is her idol, so when she overheard her mother talking to Wilson Fisk of all people, she knew she had to investigate. And she knew she had to reach out to Hawkeye for help. Their team up was a dream come true, even it was a bummer that they had to take down her mom. Now she finds herself a part of the team, kinda. Shes at least training with Clint and becoming friends with a few other members of the team.

Natalia Romanov - The Black Widow

Gear: Duel sidearms, widows bites, duel batons, push knife, knife, garrote, grappling hook, smoke bombs & tactical suit

Abilities: The Red Rooms greatest student, spy/assassin, SHIELD training, expert in hand to hand combat, expert in martial arts, expert marksman, expert hacker, Enhanced: agility, reflexes & durability

Background: When Ultron took over her Earth, he destroyed humanity. In one instant she lost her entire world, including her Avengers. The only exceptions had been her best friend Clint, and her girlfriend Y/n. But that didn't make the loss of her team, who had become like a family to her, any easier to bare. The three remaining survivors tried to get revenge on Ultron and stop his army, but it only ended in more devastating loss for Nat when her girlfriend was murdered and her best friend sacrificed himself. She had been left alone, and a shell of her former self, and hope had been replaced by grief and rage.
