It continues with the idea that YX may be in quadratum with us. Xehanort said to Eraqus he wanted 14 lives with the 14th life exploring the new world and that world is Quadratum being a "new" different reality and I wouldn't be surprised if a version of him is there. Xehanort managed to have several of his selves at one place through time travel and that's probably why one of him is still there as the reborn one.

Also notice how the message was talking about the 25th anniversary in preparation for that as if KH4 plans to be released unless it's next big trailer during that time? But that's just my thoughts.
