I want to share the brainchild of my suffering. I spent over four hours on this project, and in the end, I didn't even get half of it done.
I always thought working with a DAW was relatively easy, considering how many musicians and composers there are online. But I didn't expect this machine to be so much of a pain.
One way or another, I'll continue producing my existing compositions, getting better at it. I need to know how to work with similar programs, given today's realities.
So, it's time, I think.
Here is my new composition! For now I can show you it only in Sibelius cover, but next session I'll performing it in my conservatory. And after that (I hope deeply) I will show you live performing audio.
I made this composition under the impression of one game, which captivated me so much that I practically watched its four parts in a marathon (somewhere around 15-20 hours in total). I won't tell you its name. I think everything is clear here.
Hope you enjoy it! I would be great if I hear some response from you.
That's all for now, so stay tuned!
I finally got around to publishing this on MuseScore. Here is the link:

I'm sick at the moment, so I haven't written anything new yet. But I have some old ideas that I can try to revive this summer. So stay in touch!
Hey! Wanna share with you some of my etudes that I made for melodic lessons. Will post one per weak to stay active here.
This assignment was for practice writing tintinnabuli. In short, the tonic chord is superimposed on the main melody. Since this was a "creative assignment", the combination of the sound of the melody and the sound of the tintinaboule at the same time was not strictly observed.
I'll say right away that you shouldn't expect any deep meaning in this work, since it was simply assigned for an assignment.
Yo. Here is new one.
The assignment here was to write an etude on the scale from C to D. You could repeat notes, make leaps, but the main thing was to keep the sequence of notes consistent.
As you can see here, my imagination was literally at a standstill here, so I decided to make something lighter, not like Kancheli (we were shown his "Bright Sorrow" as an example). It turned out to be something like children's music for some educational cartoons on TV. But why not?
I'm personally touched by the ending of this "masterpiece". I can't help but cringe when I listen to the xylophone's final C note, but without it, the ending would be just too boringππ

So, the last etude composed this semester for melodica. And no less strange than aleatoric.
As you can see, the main task here was working with the series. Working meant rotating, permuting, interpolating, interverting, and running it across multiple tracks (meaning each track had its own task).
I think this is the most soulless and precisely crafted piece of work I've ever done on this discipline. Perhaps I'm not mature enough to write something like this, or perhaps it's because I was forced to, but it is what it is.
Heya. My quartet wasn't the only piece I worked on this semester. I also wrote (and still write) romances and songs, but I didn't think it was necessary to publish them. Until now.
I'd like to make a test post with my romance. If it interests you even a little, I'll send you another one.
The words in the video are a little off, and I can't do anything about it. It's a bug beyond my control.
The words were taken from Sergey Esenin's poem "Imitation of a Song". English translation by Alexander Vannik.
Sorry, a little late. Here is my third etude. Today will be something that I did for aleatoric practice.
From beginning that was quite a task, because I didn't can imagine what I wanna to create in such technique. But after a week of reflexion i gave up. I needed to do something, so...
In that time I was listening on repeat some songs from Charlie XCX. My favorite one was remix "365" by Shy Girl and exactly the last drop when Charlie was saying "365 365 365 365" etc. And I took the idea on board and made it a kind of finale to all the trash that was happening in the etude.
Well, at least that was fun to make. Later I'll post the work in the format in which it was supposed to be submitted.

Hey! So, as i promised, here is my new piece.
For now I made only preludes for my new cycle. This is not only my whim, but also a requirement of my teacher, as more easy form to compose on my first year in conservatory.
About my sonata. It's on hold for now, but I'll come for it later to complete as a whole piece.
I would be very grateful for your reactions and comments!
I posted my track on YouTube recently and I would be very glad if you watch it there. Also, I "produced" it in Ableton, so now it sounds more lively and clean. Here is a link:

Hello to all classical music lovers! Today's video will be something out of ordinary.
This is "My castletown" by Toby Fox (arrangement by OctavianMusic) . I'm a fan of his games and have already played several songs from them. Unfortunately, I only recorded this piece... but maybe someday I will record them. Who knows?
I hope you like it!
This year I promised myself that I'll try to be more involved in music production. So, I opened BandLab (again) and for beginning I tried to make more "clean" version of my first composition.
It starts to sound more nostalgic or sincere. At least for me. What do you think?
I've created a YouTube channel where I'll be duplicating my work from here. I'd be very happy if you could give it a little boost (likes, comments (maybe))!

Hello again! Soon I'll post here my new piece (it's quite big and i worked on it my past 4 months), but right now I want to share with you my new performing of Metal Crusher by Toby Fox!
I must say that was quite a battle, but after a big work with I finally start to realize my dreams! That piece I started learning in fith or sixth grade. After a long time, in my 3 grade in college I take as a etude, but it wasn't good enough to post it somewhere.
And now in my first year in conservatory (and taking it as etude again) I reach that point where I can post it on Internet and not get bully for my bad playingπππ
Yeah, it's not in the main tempo, maybe my tapping on keyboard is to noisy, but overall that I'm proud that did it. Hope you'll be glad to listen to it!
Just a little practice of me trying to play Death by Glamour (I took this piece for my exam session).
And also, I haven't abandoned Tumblr, just busy trying to compose new music.
