sometimes i feel so far away

back to paint the studio today 🙏 i don’t get to go to the studio on weekdays very often, so i haven’t gotten so see our business neighbors too much but i ADORE the family that owns the salon next door. i went over to start painting on Wednesday, and a random dude stopped by just to say hi and see what was going on with the space, and the husband from the salon comes scampering over and is like “BRENNA I HEAR MANS VOICES, YOU OK???” and then tells me to be careful because “someone with a tiny dog is letting it take buffalo shits in our grasses and i stepped in it!”

i’m on a lot of medications bc all of my ailments are treatment resistant (yay!) but like 4 of my medications cause heat intolerance, and trying to get anything done when it’s been 90 degrees all week fucking sucks. i feel so unbelievably sick.

does anybody else have trouble identifying sounds while high….i frequently get high and watch tv and then end up pausing because i “hear music” and it’s literally just the background music of the movie i’m watching.

wedding went ok, i dipped early but the bride did get real drunk and grab my boobs so i count it as a win

my husband is still friends with people from high school. he’s a groomsman in a wedding this weekend, i’m his plus one, and the guest list looks like it’s almost entirely people from high school. he’s going to be busy since he’s in the wedding party and i’m going to be expected to mingle and we’re going camping with all of them after apparently. this feels like a nightmare
