Working on the menu made me realize @quonit was right and I should've started working on coding dialogue before making surfaces (I also stole your parallel lines joke). I've come to realize I need a much wider repertoire of judgemental expressions with varying degrees of contempt.

Heya! So I might not have this project ready by December as I originally hoped for. Without going into details, my mental health is worsening and causing me to engage in increased maladaptive behavior. I need time to figure this out and hopefully get to a point where I can focus again.
I will still post updates whenever I make any form of progress, but itāll probably be sparse given my current mental state. Hoping yāall can understand.
Couple hours trying to figure out why the the āTalk to: Meā choice refused to work in the menu, trying to figure out what was missing. It was one single word. On. OnAiTalk. Fucking hell. AAAAAA.
Figuring out how to give him glasses in a way that didnāt force me to edit every single surface Iāve drawn so far was fairly easy compared to the headache that came with figuring out how the hell to make the tail flick. Took much trial and error but Iām finally able to look at the results without cringing.
Itās not finished yet as Iām planning to add one more tail frame to make the animation seem smoother, but it works in the meantime.
Sketching out some pick up poses for the ghost, if you squint hard enough youāll find me screaming in the back as I struggle to get his stupid coat and legs right.

Added the code that makes it look like youāre picking him up every time you drag him with the mouse. The surprised expression is just a placeholder for now as I plan to change it for something else, one that looks like heās being yanked by the scruff or the back of his coatāØ
I keep sidetracking from step 1 (REPLACE ALL SHELL SURFACES ALREADY) so I made petting dialogue instead. I think I want to add a āpick kitty upā surface for when you move him around with your cursor. Next time I get bored of lineart Iāll add it next wee.
