Something about my breaking point being a bowl of lentils is really funny but also kinda pathetic

#moose vents #just a vent no need to look deeper into the tags unless you’re well enough to handle me being a drama queen #take care yourself first babes ✨#or look if you’re nosy idc #anyway #had one of the worst and most exhausting days yesterday #started bad and just kept on getting worse #I have so many assignments due next week but a solid 3/4 days of my non-school days have been taken up by other matters #so I’ll really only have Sunday to do all my work to turn in on Monday #and that’s stressing the fuck out of me #and it’s harder for me to be good with money when I’m stressed and feeling like shit #so I bought something on impulse knowing I had to save money for something I NEED to pay for on Thursday #and I still have funds but it’s just BAD #so I got really upset that I bought something on impulse again #and everything about yesterday just got to be too much #I almost cried in my school library but I had to lock in and do homework so I didn’t #but when I finally got home and sat down for dinner #it was just lentils #and that broke me ngl #I used to love lentils but I ate so much of it as a kid that I got sick of them #and now I can’t stand them #but it was all we had and I wasn’t going to be a brat about it #so I just cried over my bowl of lentils and ate it #what a fucking day #anyways I’ll be normal and sane again come April #hopefully #and I’m trying not to let everything get me too down #bc I know I’ll turn to self-isolation and I don’t want to hurt my friends by shutting them out #but sometimes I just really don’t want to talk to anyone and need to rot away by myself yknow #anyways that’s it I ran out of tags I’ll be okay again. I always end up okay.
