The reality of my household
For Valentine’s Day flannery always cooks a huge dinner (dairy free because Steven is lactose intolerant) and Steven is classic and buys chocolate and flowers
She doesn’t understand flower language but he always gets her something coded in it because he likes the mystery
They watch a movie afterwards, flannery enjoys the silly romcoms and Steven doesn’t mind watching something brainless every now and then
Flannery has a secret salted caramel popcorn recipe that she’s taking to the grave and not even Winona and Roxanne can weasel it out of her, but Steven asks her to add crushed sesame seeds once and they’ve never gone back
Also she packs him a lunch the next day to go to work and ofc Steven keeps all the notes she writes for him - they’re so cute

On beach holidays Steven is off digging up weird little fossils while Flannery is always up for a game of beach volleyball or suntanning
Also Steven burns like a boiled lobster but Flannery only tans for maybe a day or two and then she’s back to her normal skin colour
For activities they do together, probably barbecuing - flannery is the typical bbq dad and Steven is in charge of not setting anything on fire (accidentally) and topping up people’s drinks

Depressi because I have writers block for all of my written works, and I’m the sole person feeding the candlestick fandom (which consists of three people lol)
Melphie and Aristide are so candlestick coded wtf
Also flannery and Steven adopt an abandoned lycanroc during their honeymoon in alola and even though flannery is the one who begged Steven to take lycanroc home with them to be a pet (she’s got a chronic traumatic injury that makes her unable to battle plus separation anxiety), lycanroc actually is frightened of Steven at first because her previous master was an abusive man, but quickly loves Flannery because she can’t stop spoiling her
Because of this Steven wants to adopt another Pokemon so they find a feral Arcanine in the shelter who was abused at a Pokemon circus, and after some rehabilitation Flannery introduces Arcanine to her team! But Arcanine also likes to sleep on the bed so Lycanroc and Arcanine always get into fights over the best spot, suffice to say they have to get a new much bigger bed lol (and Arcanine always steals Steven’s spot)

Metagross is the de facto leader of Steven’s team of course - they were gifted to him as a Beldum from his father after Trainer School. They have a psychic link with Steven and can communicate telepathically with him.
Aggron is the second in command and the most brute-like of the team, always gearing up for a fight. He can be bought easily with sweet things though…
Skarmory usually works as transport and can be very mischievous and playful, and it’s rubbed off on Armaldo too. He’s always down to clown but he loves his master the most.
Claydol was caught just before the fossil siblings! She’s the most chill of all the Pokemon, and often acts as the voice of reason. She also has a telepathic link with Steven but it’s not as strong as Metagross’s so it only activates when the feelings are very strong.
The fossil siblings were found together in Mirage tower, but their personalities are exact opposites. Armaldo idolizes Skarmory and has taken after his mischievous personality whereas Cradily is much more stoic like Claydol. However Armaldo is a very curious creature and always wants to find out what’s going on. Cradily only gets really upset if either Steven or Armaldo are affected, otherwise she’s super chill.
Flannery is the type to be very cost conscious because she grew up with just her Grandpa so whenever Steven buys her gifts he has to make sure it’s simple packaging (even if the gift itself is luxurious) so she doesn’t freak out on him lol
Over time she gets a bit better with accepting expensive gifts but Steven has to promise to limit himself to just special occasions only
When she gifts people stuff, it’s always homemade and edible but it’s because food is her love language! She has a list of stuff that she knows the rest of her colleagues like.
Oh lol and she’s terrible with spicy food, both her and Steven can’t eat buldak noodles even at half spicy
