listen I know everyone with a brain has a mile long list of things about jkr’s writing that sucks but what never fails to make me so fucking mad is deliberately including an entire subplot where a hermione is petitioning against the fact that the wizarding world canonically has a fucking literal slave race and having it be treated as a joke or implying for even one second that she’s in the wrong or uninformed!! the absolute audacity to even include that narrative in a series of books that were being read by an entire generation of young kids and then turn it around like that is outright unethical

i dont understand how jkr said she killed off fred because “it’s unrealistic for all the weasleys to survive” but then had literally everyone get married and start perfect little patriarchal hetero relationships together in their early twenties mere years after surviving traumatizing war conditions...? like idk j*anne which one seems more unrealistic to you
