Too intimidated by the idea of knitting the hands for this doll that I haven't started yet. Maybe I'll have a nap and hope inspiration comes in a dream.

More stuff I've been doing instead of working on my costume.
Will my drawing and colouring skills ever evolve beyond shoddy attempts at My Little Ponies? Will Fluttershy ever get given a mane and tail? Will my weird glassy eyed doll in mourning ever get the rest of her face?
Probably not. I go on mad crafting sprees when having episodes and nothing ever gets finished because I lose interest.
For anyone who's interested, the gloves are a modification of this pattern

The pony (and her unpictured, even more unfinished siblings) is from this pattern

Two legs!
Yeah, I'm not a photographer. I didn't even clean the table, I was too excited.
One of the things I've been doing instead of making Victorian costume pieces is designing my own knitted doll. It's a surprisingly gruesome, seeing all the body parts littered about, and gives me weird dreams.
My plans involve knitting her replicas of our Victorian costumes and many other historical and fantasy outfits besides. Because, you know, I like to make my life difficult and knitting bustles seems like an excellent way to do that.
Watch this space (for a while. Probably a long while) for a pattern. Maybe.
One chemise down, EVERYTHING to go. Twice.
Yes it's taken this long. We don't have great attention spans. I was going to take a photo of myself in it, but then realised how sheer the fabric we chose actually is, and one of my goals is to NOT have pictures of my nipples on the internet, so no photos.

I'm up at 3.30 am designing ball gowns for knitted dolls. Why.
Kind of productive today? It's for a Christmas gift so it counts as important?

What's the plural of TARDIS?
Hey, I just noticed which t shirt I am wearing today! How appropriate!
My own design, smaller.
I need some blue thread.

Behold my extremely large police box earring (this one took hours, not made the second one yet). I took a close up so you can see the loose beads there. I have much in the way of beading skills still to learn!
I got the design from http://www.threadabead.com/index.cfm and I think it looks pretty impressive but I may design my own, much smaller and probably two dimensional because I feel a bit of a doink wearing such huuuuge earrings. They're nearly as long as my neck!
The colours are a bit off in this lighting but the silver lined sapphire delicas are a proper police box blue!
And another thing! I managed to smudge the ink as I was drawing pretty badly on that one.

I made a thing! Goofiest looking earrings I'll ever own, but I LOVE THEM.
NEVER let a right handed person sell you a tool with the words "oh just turn it upside down, see!"
I should have learned this years ago but I assumed that people using said tools every day of their lives would have some idea of what they're talking about.
I went to leather shops today. It was a good day;

Learning about corset flossing!
Perhaps I should learn to sew a corset first.
My scissor skills haven't started improving yet. I think they've actually become worse on this one.
I DON'T CARE I HAVE A UNICORN ON MY NECK
