currently in my era of doing lots of arts and crafts projects as well as kitchen experiments and learning about slavic and germanic paganism, as well as trying to further deconstruct my former christian beliefs, so those are particularly big themes

the god of the abrahamic religions comes from one or two gods from the canaanite pantheon being syncretized together so it kinda makes sense, while they weren't genetically the same they did interact a lot which lends itself to more syncretism. i'm not sure where i stand on the exact cutoff line for where pagan religions begin and end (for example - are the slavic and pagan gods the same and there's really only an "indo-european paganism", or are they different and always have been? i have gotten and appreciated many answers about this but it's much to think about!) but ironically abrahamic religions are just an extension of canaanite paganism despite how all of them bitch and moan about pagans constantly lol
