Not only that. That amendment makes anybody born in the U.S. automatically a U.S. Citizen. So without it, you wouldn’t be a citizen of the U.S. from birth. And how would one become a citizen? If you’re living in America and aren’t a citizen you aren’t afforded the same rights and protections under the law. So once nobody is a citizen, they don’t have any rights. And I promise you you’ll see citizen suppression tactics like voter suppression tactics to ensure that as many people as possible (likely mostly poor and/or non white people) do not have full rights. And in this country I know where that’s headed. The corporations write the laws. So no more minimum wage or workers rights. Donald Trump is disgusting and dangerous. He represents corporate America and would wreck this country given the chance just so he can line his pockets and the pockets of his friends.
