wanted to change my dess design a bit and my thoughts kept wandering after thinking about hair dye and then noelle

#I can’t copy paste my entire essay (lol) from Instagram but like #basically while I was thinking about if dess should have blonde roots or tips I started wondering about if this could have a backstory #of like #her relationship with her parents #and then I wondered about Noelle and what if this applied to her too #not sure if it all makes sense in the grand scheme of things but just thought it would be fun to draw #and think about it symbolically with Noelle’s character #dyeing her hair to appease carol and what it means to be her true self as someone who is a people pleaser #also as the word ‘roots’ simmered in my head because of hair dye #I also suddenly remembered the roots prophecy #double meaning??#although the roots prophecy seems to mostly be associated with kris #i’m just yapping at this point and feel like my thoughts aren’t coherent because it’s pretty late #but yeah not a theory or anything i just wanted to get this out of my system #thank u for reading this far if u did #deltarune #my art #noelle holiday #dess holiday #asriel dreemurr #undyne #utdr
