I have been out from gaza for 2 years now 😔💔

Every day IDF targets civilians every day they kill innocent people because they make the world there’s a ceasefire and no one care about what’s happening and what they’re doing in gaza

We are now trapped in the shrinking areas left for us, confined to less than half of Gaza with no real life left to live, no safety, no basic necessities, no future. We live among rubble and destruction while insects, rats, and disease spread around us. Israel continues destroying families, children, women, and the elderly with no consequences, while the world watches in silence. It feels as if they are only waiting for people to grow tired of hearing about Gaza so this horror can continue unseen.

And we are just one of those families, a father, a mother, and four children trying to survive this nightmare alone. Today, we depend entirely on donations to buy food, medicine, clothes, and the most basic needs for our children. This is not exaggeration or emotional wording; it is our reality. If donations come, we are able to survive another day. If they do not, we are left with nothing.

Please do not grow numb to our suffering. Do not let this world take away your humanity. Even sharing our story can help it reach someone willing to save a family or feed a hungry child. We are not asking for luxury, we are a family facing fear, hunger, and destruction every single day, pleading with kind people not to leave us alone in this slow death. Thank you to everyone who still sees the people of Gaza as human beings deserving of life.

In a rare moment, the Lebanese state, emergency services, and media outlets came together to publicly state that Israel intentionally targeted the journalists.

Sequence of events follows that an Israeli drone first targeted one of the vehicles in the journalists' convoy, killing two. The Red Crescent was denied permission to move in by Israel, and an hour and a half later another Israeli drone blows up the journalists' car as they shelter under a tree. The journalists then move to a house, which a half hour later is bombed by IDF jets, killing them. Red Crescent then receives permission to go to the site from Israel.

My unnecessary two cents is that ppl in the imperial core are prone to viewing "benefiting from imperialism" as some sort of personal attack on their character or moral standing (& the higher moral ground they believe they have the more they resist this idea, imo) -- like you realize that its just factual. In a somewhat similar way to the principle that men as a class benefit from misogyny

The monetary plunder of imperialism on a gradient being "walled off" based on class race gender citizenship status etc. etc. does not make the imperial core a tragic outlier, this is the case in most if not all places, including places that are outside the empire. But fact of the matter is some people have imperial warfare in their countries or the ever present threat of imperial warfare in their countries and you do not, some people have to worry about imperial aggression and extraction on top of the million things that you worry about, and you do not, some people have to worry about massive currency fluctuation/degradation and the exponential impact this has on their ability to live their lives well or at all, and you do not, some people have to worry about access to minimally upwardly mobile jobs based on their ability to "speak english" regardless of what their native language may be or what the dominant language of their environment may be, and you, for the most part, do not. And on and on and on. Everything is affected. All the little or big things that add up to make some peoples' lives relatively easy and others' lives relatively impossible -- these things exist everywhere, but for those living outside the core, there's more often than not an added, significant layer of instability and insecurity and wanton destruction, alongside the pervasive feeling (and reality) of there being nowhere to go to escape from the way of things. Bc of how the world is ordered. Namely in a manner that ensures that wealth and bounty and opportunity only flows one way at the expense of the other and the gates between these places are, largely, locked off
