This has especially become front of mind for me since moving back to Donbass from where I was living in another part of Russia. I say a prayer anytime I get on a public bus because Ukraine targets those, I really do not GAF about Ukrainophobia and you shouldn’t either.

Every four business days an Eastern European gets on TikTok to tell everyone about how this thing that everyone says is Russian is actually just a general Eastern European/former USSR thing and look I absolutely understand how that can be annoying, but they always point this out with such malice towards Russians and it’s like damn okay maybe you should be grateful that the stereotypes, good and bad, got conferred onto Russians instead of your Latvian ass. Like these things that are universally Eastern European that Westerners perceive as only Russian are usually not good things.
