             hazy eyes blink a little to focus on the small demon. letha’s always been on the taller side, with people like xaphan who can make her feel short. but then there’s april and nearly a foot difference in their height, and no doubt the demon is just as powerful as the poltergeist. more so, honest. the dead take more time to accumulate what they have. “well, i like these shorts. that ain’t gonna change because some asshole thinks ‘m askin’ for it.” a shrug, and the burning pile of parts is forgotten, wide gaze on april. “i ain’t never been! i got cash though!” stolen from the body before burning it, naturally.
