he’s a fucking nightmare.   he knows it, too.   it makes these meetings that much more  fucking unbearable  and the bloodied corpse she sees  (  naked, torn apart and mangled by ugly hands  )  incites a great wave of nausea inside of abra.    “  yeah.  i don’t really play that anymore.  ”   you murdering fucking shitface.    what the hell.  WHAT THE HELL!!! 

abra chews into the corner of her mouth as xaphan kicks the body and at one point in her life it may have not made her feel sick and dizzy.   eyes linger  on that dahlia smile, before flashing up toward xaphan.   “  you shouldn’t say things like that.  it’s fucking creepy.  ”

            he’s been a nightmare for centuries, darling. of course he knows it. he causes nightmares that make people wanna kill themselves. hell, he has made plenty off themselves before. he’ll take a slow step forward, his foot dragging on the ground before it connects with the corpse once again, sending it even closer to abra with a kick. “ya’ don’t play what anymore? victim? well, darlin’, ya’ been a victim ya’ whole life,”

        “he was tryin’ to get away from you an’ letha always came home drenched in ya’. couldn’t feel safe when he was constantly threatened.” she really can’t even see the irony in that. she’d threatened trevor with his own shiv, and here she is telling xaphan he needed to feel safe. “i want him back!” she’s shouting, ground shaking under her feet again with it. leila upset will not be told to calm down and apparently trevor had become a trigger. “it’s not safe out there! you won’t take care of him, letha won’t! you can’t just leave him out there alone! i’m the only one who gave a shit. either of you would’ve killed him but suddenly you care?” 

         “yeah, probably.” can’t live forever caught up on one person when they’re gone or something like that. shoulder roll.”kinda sucks. ya’ were probably the only person who ever loved me more than they loved leila. she was everybody’s favourite but yours.” maybe that’s why it’s been so hard to let xaphan go. even now she still tends to put leila first. a huff escapes her, head shaking. “yeah, but what about all the shit i’ve done since then? all forgiven because i’m already dead?” 

        “stubborn as hell, but she’s a peach. plus you know, she sucks like a hoover.” there’s a reason harry james wouldn’t accept being associated with him around strangers, because he would very willingly say that to a complete stranger. that it’s actually xaphan doesn’t make a huge difference. “s’what college is for, right? suppose i got a taste for it though,” there’s a shrug as he shakes, head tipped a little. “it’s ya’ birthday, mate. creation day. can’t go without drinks.”
