    “ first time attending?” roman asked gently. he had been attending the meetings long enough to spot new faces as easily as wesley. while he rarely dared to speak up, he found that finding others who experienced similar things to himself made things easier. sometimes -- just knowing that there were others -- was enough to keep the bad days at bay and when it wasn’t, he had wesley on speed dial. he offered the young girl a small smile.
