well it's been over two years since the last time i got on here and posted an update. the end of this month will mark the end of my career as a public school teacher, and i'm going back to grad school in september.
what started out as a joke that i should move back to ontario to get laid more became a serious possibility, and now my future. with the help of the Slut Club of middle-aged divorcés and queers who have become close and treasured friends, i faced the facts that i am unhappy in my career and living in my hometown. i have no life outside my job. i want a career where i still have energy at the end of the day. i want more sources of peace and joy in my life.
i probably won't delete this account for the simple reason that it's existed for 13 years and is a time capsule of my high school and university days. but this is the last time i'll be using it.
goodbye for now, and for good.
