I love how the Elder Scrolls series had a race of hive-minded steampunk elves that were so aggressively anti-theistic that they built a synthetic god to act as an existential negative integer to all creation just to test the hypothesis that it could be cancelled out. But upon powering this synthetic god on, the inherent illogic and irrationality of apotheosis spread through the hive-mind like an atomic blast wave, and these elves who based their entire worldview in logic and rationality could no longer justify their own existence, and so they cancelled themselves out of the universal equation, in part proving their hypothesis in the process.

You know what bugs me? Bosmer males. Look, idk how ESO does things, but from Morrowind to Oblivion they seem to be the butt of a joke that just says, aren't short men with squeaky voices funny and juvenile and stupid and ripe for mockery? (Fargoth, Gaenir, Glarthir, The Adoring Fan. I don't remember any Bosmer in Skyrim, but then I haven't played Skyrim since like 2015.) Plus there's that old lore about how the Bosmeri women are hot and the men are not, and frankly, fuck that. Where the short king Bosmer at? (Please share any cool Bosmeri male OCs with me.)

Tbh I shouldnât joke because I know there are folks in tesblr who are struggling to find an âinâ or to make friends. I will shout myself blue in the face that there is someone here who cares about your ocs, or will care as soon as said oc crosses their dash and someone goes âoh? đ whatâs your lore?â
At the same time, coming into a place buzzing with activity and declaring it dead is justâŚodd. Dead for what? Iâm standing right here. All my current friends and moots are standing with me, as well as the lovely folks I just havenât had the chance to meet yet.
Iâve been in fandom a long time. I know the difference between someone whoâs genuinely looking for community and someone who is only looking for an audience. I guess any space can look dead if it isnât oriented to revolve around yourself.
