being appealing to me for the bright colours (they make me happy) it also reminds me of an old chair my grandma had, but a modern version. the positives of having a bowl-like seat means you can change the angle of sitting depending on what you’re using the chair for. Below is an example of how the chair is being used for a very relaxed position and the bowl is placed horizontally, but if placed more vertical the bowl would create a more up-right seated position.

this book focus’s around the 8 philosophical areas of inspiration that vogelzang has developed to inspire food creatives: the senses , nature , culture , society , technique, psychology, science, action.

These projects I found relevant to ideas i had for my client about wearing food or using it to create jewellery from.

I also really liked the concept of using a mathematical sequence to determine amounts in food.

restaurants are interesting because the environment where eating takes place can really effect how you feel about the food; things like lighting, settings, what you’re sat on, how close to other people you are can have an impact.
