do you think the new expansion teams will announce their names and logos before the season starts (like vancouver and seattle), or will they take longer like the original franchises?
I think they will probably announce them before the season starts, like with sea and van. the first year took longer because it was explicitly less of a priority that year vs just getting the league going. But now that we’re going, they are able to do that sort of work a little quicker! 🤞
however, even once the names are announced, the expansion teams will probably play in unbranded jerseys for their first year, as per tradition
Really hope the PWHL take their cue from the WPBL and give them names that have resonance.
