I honestly just hope this finally drives the point home that Minnesota is not a singular evil that hates trans people and the rest of the league is a safe haven for trans fan. As we’ve said any team would jump at the chance to have her and as soon as she left available for the first time in her career there’s teams knocking on the door to take her. Plus she has so many friends in the league, no one wants to acknowledge it but your faves are problematic too and curl and Minnesota are not an outlier, they are just a team that fans loudly decided to treat as a symbol of evil so they can hate them and feel better about supporting the whole league. And now everyone’s going to have to realize that more teams and more players than they realized are also bad, and that if we want to change the culture to reflect the fans we have to do more work than just hate the bright flashing scapegoat and call it a day

I thought she loved Ottawa enough to stay but clearly she wanted to go home, and you know I can’t even be mad like I’ve said before I feel if someone leaves in expansion they were already going to leave anyway, and I hate to say it Jenner is at the end of her career and obviously wants to retire at home which is fine I GUESS

I will always wish for players to have more rest, especially right after an injury, even if I know it’s unrealistic (like I have said before I’m Canadian and I honestly preferred Steph Labbé to face that pk in the Olympics even with her broken ribs over Sheridan even tho I also knew Labbé should not play on broken ribs it was still the better option at the time)
