We are all a little broken & that's okay

I need reassurance the way other people need air and I hate myself for that.

im not anyone's first choice. im not anyone's favorite. people may tell me i mean a lot to them and that im special to them but i know there's someone they'll always choose over me

sometimes it feels like I was never meant to exist.

I keep my feelings unexpressed so they can’t be rejected.

I hate that the feeling of emptiness persists no matter what I do.
