A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE: JAYCÉ MARCEL SYCAMORE
Yeah, I used their full government name, what're you gonna do about it. Anyways, I have been thinking about reworking Jaycé because of the events of Legends ZA, so here's a comprehensive guide on what changed and what's to come.
Personality wise? Not much. They're still the same old Jaycé we know and love, it's mostly their actions and how they ended back up in Kalos again.
So. Why'd they go back then?
Easy Answer: They missed home
Hard Answer: They grew sick of Unova. With every passing year since their guardian and friend died, they've found it hard to keep themselves in a place they're not happy with. They wanted to go back to where they felt comfortable, familiar, and that was back to Kalos. They took a leap and decided to head back to visit, test the waters of going back, all on the ten year anniversary of the ultimate weapon firing. They stayed in Lumiose City for a few weeks before heading back to Unova. They panicked over how much had changed since they were last there. They had inner turmoil. Stay where they were unhappy, or go somewhere that had changed. Ultimately, they decided to head back to Kalos, just, look for somewhere else to stay. Lumiose was no longer their home.

Why there?
Easy Answer: They find it a relaxing place to stay.
Hard Answer: It's close to Anistar City, where their grandmother lives. It's also a quieter place than Lumiose. They miss living in a city, but they feel more at ease. They can stroll around town, spend hours just staring at the falls, and live a life they never knew they needed. If need be, they can always travel to Lumiose if they miss that big city.
What about their relationships??
You think I'd forget about that? Pshhhhhh. (Totally did forget to add in this section at first)
Easy Answer: Yes, they can stay the same.
Hard Answer: It all depends on the mun's of other muses. I know Jaycé still has their relationships with Casi and Amy, that has been discussed behind the scenes. But for the most part, everything is intact. They still had their Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Birthday. I'm rethinking their relationship with a certain Elite Four member. But all friendships can stay the same, just reach out to me if you want that changed or clarified ^^
a) Jaycé misses the Lumiose City they grew up in. It's more hectic, hostile, to them. They can't live in place where wild zones have sprung up, Prism Tower is, well, that, and where at night they run the risk of running into a battle zone as a non-battling trainer. They're also a little lost without someone familiar to guide them. The lab is empty of people they knew, and there's no way they can worm their way into working there anymore. Their old home stands there, but it may be vacant or filled with those they don't know, and they're not going to check.
b) They're no longer going to Lumiose University, instead they're going to Anistar University. A smaller college, where they're studying Geology with a minor in Pokemon Phenomena (Think your gimmicks like Mega Evolution, Z Moves, Dynamaxing, and Terastralization).
c) They miss their dad. They don't know where he went and they're so so lost without him. They hoped to run across him when they went back to Lumiose, but was shocked to find Mable in the labs instead. It was, an awkward encounter to say the least.
d) I think they should run into L at one point. He says he's off to wander the world in ZA, why not stumble into Jaycé. Watch as their viewpoints change actively in time. They're so scared of the man, but he's no longer harmful to them. They have so many frustrations they want to vent to him about, hoping something clicks within.
