THAT is the kind of friend hikaru was to yoshiki. whether intentional or not that was the IMPACT #its the constant inexplicit hints of 'this is not a safe person to be vulnerable to'#holding your breath through every conversation but not being able to leave bc you'll go back to having no one #which explains yoshikis initial weariness to explain his feelings to 'hikaru' & relief he feels when he learns none of that matters to him #'hikaru' doesnt understand social norms and human values so yoshiki can actually be 100% himself for the first time in his life #hikaru perpetuated yoshikis social imprisonment while 'hikaru' sets him free #whole point of the fucking manga but no actually lets just argue about whether the dead guy was actually bisexual. fucking hell
