Literally all I ever hear about is girls embracing their sexuality. I’m here for it all the way, but there is not enough talk about girls who don’t want to be sexual and super out there at all. Literally everything is just about sex. Or the girls who are celibate or girls who’ve had traumatic sexual encounters and don’t want sex or the girls who never want to have sex. Not a lot of those kind of girls are talked about and sex is so enforced and pressurized in our society today that many girls feel like they should be having sex because society says so. I’m here to say you don’t have to have sex if you do not want to have sex. You are just as valuable as a girl who has had sex or is having sex. Don’t think you’re a prude or a bore. You’re just as much as a delight.

Okay I was legit thinking about making a post like this so I’m so glad to see this! Not all girls get empowered by sex and it should def be talked about in a normalized way. When a girl says she doesn’t have sex for any reason, the response is always shocked and filled with pity and to me that’s so odd. If you’re having sex or not, the response should be positive and accepting! If we push for one end to be accepting, the other end should be as well! Don’t tell someone who isn’t having sex or choosing to be celibate or is asexual etc etc that it’s “a shame” or “unnatural” or my personal favorite “you’re missing out”. If you don’t want to be shamed for having sex….then neither does someone who is choosing not to. So yes ladies, not having sex is perfectly okay no matter your reasoning for it. If you’re feeling pressured, feel free to remove your self from the places and even people who are pressuring you. Always know even in today’s society, your choice is allowed. ❤
