He's also somewhat controversial among some cat fancy associations since he is a male cat with female colors, and some people are strangely transphobic towards him, despite him being a cat? There was even a rule implemented to keep him from competing in a cat show. If you look up his name, he made a few news articles.

I can actually answer this! So the latex/rubber they used, while standard for Hollywood at the time, reacted REALLY BADLY to being doused in pouring water nonstop for an entire day of shooting. They ended up corroding, which caused them to stink really badly and glob together at the seams. The original plan was to hand out masks to various crew members on the final day of shooting as souvenirs, but the sopping wet, melting, rotting rubber got so gross that by the end of that shooting day they’d already thrown most of them out. Somewhere in a landfill are hundreds of disgusting, bloated, slimey Hugo weaving heads fused together into a nightmarish rotting amalgam :)

i’ve said it before but i loveee when the civilian character is put in a captivity/torture situation with other more trained/risk-facing members of a team and it comes out that the civilian is the one with the most experience withstanding severe pain/intimidation/torture etc. like yesss recontextualize ur entire understanding of the person who you thought had spent their entire life unharmed behind a desk

not to be entirely predictable but i also love this when paired with a masochistic whumpee who has won this experience thru a variety of experience and has a complicated relationship to this reveal, but also knows, through the negative sides of said experience, that trying to waste energy on hiding or defending this is a mistake that they don’t know if they can afford and they have to be exceedingly practical about it
