what i mean by this is , marinette has been brought up with , family and friends who - she’s been able to talk to. her whole life if she’s had a problem she can go to them and talk it out. of course this changed when she became ladybug as problems she faced she couldn’t talk about / wasn’t ready to talk about. so in turn she didn’t know how to handle those problems and eventually broke down because of them. 

now , adrien - grew up without a caring family , and while he had chloe he clearly didn’t have friends he could exactly go to. so he’s learnt to handle things by himself either via ignoring them or - watching movies to make himself feel better. so when he became chat noir he basically already knew how to handle the emotions he was feeling ‘cause that’s how it’s always been

now i am someone who was in the h/omestuck fandom , un/dertale fandom and is currently in the b/nha fandom so when i say i know toxic fandoms I KNOW TOXIC FANDOMS and boy oh fuckin' boy miraculous ladybug is getting up there.

this is a show i use to watch for comfort and i cant even watch season four or look up spoilers on it because all i see is salt this, salt that, like dude? do you realize that some people don't want to go deep into the salt and lore of this fuckin show and just wanna enjoy two teenagers kicking bad guy butt for like thirty minutes every once in a while???

like, i see someone with the ' adrien is blahblahblah ' and im like okay , i don't agree but that's your opinion - you're allowed to have it. i've even talked to people with this opinion and stated mine without fighting them BECAUSE IT IS POSSIBLE to listen to each others opinions and understand why you have differing ones. you might even change your opinion after, you also might not and that's completely fine but this fandom acts like if you don't change your opinion after that you're some HORRIBLE PERSON AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY.

ALL THE MODS OF THIS BLOG (mod Dream, Flame and Petal) ARE OF AGE, MEANING OVER 18. WE WILL NOT BE GETTING INTO SPECIFICS PAST THAT POINT TO PROTECT PRIVACY.

We are working on making an actual Mod page at some point, but we've been busy with work, so it hasn't quite happened yet.

I cant take a day off without people spreading hate and salt. Look I get it. You can hate Adrien, you can hate Marinette, you can hate Alya or Lila or Chloe or whatever but can we not get into fights over a French Children's show about teenagers with superpowers?

I will never understand why someone who disagrees with you is instantly labelled a "stan" or an "anti". Is it not worth having a valid conversation with someone and realizing that while you may not like the character, other will, and vice versa?

I'm just tired of fighting and blocking when it feels like we cant even have a civil discussion like adults, because that's what some of us are, adults.

even if they’re fourteen. they’re still children && as such are not going to act like adults in the situations they’re thrown into. while we may look and say this is bad - we are adults , we see it differently than they do.

and again imo this is just valid coping mechanisms. like ignoring the characters in general its a mechanism to deal with the situation?

i don’t have to see your side of the story , i can listen to your opinions on it and you are completely valid in your opinions ! however i do not have to agree with them. everyone has their own thoughts on things and you do not have to agree with one another at the end of the day. 

i see a lot of problems with miracuous ladybug varying from the clear racism in the show , to the making stalking a personality trait / attempting to romanticize it. 

i also don’t blindly worship adrien , i’ve stated before i know he can do wrong. a good example of this is in the miraculous new york movie where he left paris without telling ladybug. he should have told her . it’s his fault and he deserved to be yelled at for that situation because he knew better.  however i will not sit here and blame him for situations that make sense , or were complete accidents just like i would not blame marinette if she was in his shoes.

Jokes on all of you. MHA S5 started today and I’m never shutting up about it until we get new episodes for MLB too. It’s a joke I swear. IN HONOR OF MHA COMING OUT WITH A NEW SEASONS HERES A THING.

Marinette- Her quirk would be something similar to Momo’s creation quirk. I think, but not like how Momo needs to have a ton of lipids to create her things. THAT or something similar to Best Jeanist quirk as he can control fabric?

Adrien- His quirk would be something feline like. I’m think he would be a stealth hero with a bit of a power boost!

Chloe- Something to do with poison/ a paralyzing agent. I’d like to think she could float a bit as well??

Alya- Technology based! Like she would be a investigator hero! Something like being able to easily collect data!

Nino- Something with music and protection! Like Nino being able to figure out someone’s location based on the vibrations they give off. He would be a rescue here I think.

personally i go with a vastly different idea

mari: was born with a ‘ luck based ‘ power , not good enough to be a hero - it just kinda saves her in situations she’s very lucky - and this gets enhanced once she meets tikki. tikki grants her the newfound quirk that enhances her luck ability and gives her a inhanced healing && strength ability.

ade: i feel like adrien would have been possibly born quirkless? it would make sense on why gabriel and emilie were already protective over him. however once he meets plagg he gets a quirk that is based around destruction and cat like abilities !!

can we all stop tagging salt w/ the character’s full name so it doesn’t show up in the tags? , some people don’t want to see salt about the characters because these characters can be comfort characters for them and it kinda sucks to go into the tags to see paragraphs of salt on them. just using ‘ marinette salt ‘ or ‘ adrien salt ‘ is enough to get your post seen w/o tagging the whole name.
