Blog #7: Pitching
Hi! Welcome to my 7th blog!
I have mentioned on my past blogs that we will have a pitching activity that will serve as our midterm exam, and hooray, January 31 is the day! We were the 5th presenter for the afternoon session and as a result, I can say that it wasnāt that good, contrary to what we have expected.Ā
It was suggested to us by one of the panels that we should find our secret sauce for our study. Well, what she meant on this was that we should present the edge of our study among others. This was because there were like three teams, including us who used plastics as the main material for each of our specific studies. With this, me and my group have decided to do more research about our topic and of course to think of new ways on how to be able to satisfy the judges expectations.
Moreover, aside from being busy on pitching activity, this week, we also attended a symposium about intellectual property rights held in our school. The content of the said gathering was to teach the students on different ways on how to protect our exclusive rights on our own plans, ideas, or other intangible assets without worrying our competition, at least for a specific period of time. These rights maybe through copyrights, patents, trademarks, and more. So much for that, we have learned a lot of things on the said activity and hopefully, we could apply them in the near future.
