𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐒 - 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟒

On the rain-soaked and fatigue-laden fourth day of intramurals, our cheers cut through the chill as badminton teams battled valiantly. The Vicious Vipers conquered the cold to become the champions, their resilience shining brighter than the gloomy weather. As the rain persisted, the volleyball men's game paused, mindful of safety on the wet court.

Also between making in military poster. There is a Fun Assignment that is "KNOW YOUR CLASSMATE" . In which we have to know our classmate and my poster is of Chirag my classmate and his poster justify how his journey has been in Product photography and illustrations.

For this week, our group have able to present our proposal which was about plastic aggregates as an alternative material to rock aggregates in construction. Luckily, our presentation went well and have been approved. So much for that, right after we presented, our group held a meeting to talk about the suggestions and concerns of our instructors who happened to be the persons whom we presented. We also talked about the machine that we will use in producing our product, but sad to say, this concern is still blurry. 

You might be wondering of why did we still have to use a machine, right? Well to answer that, our specific product as stated above, is plastic aggregates. Plastic aggregates that will probably undergo a melting process and then cold in a certain molder. That is why having a certain machine who can do what we want is really a must. 

In smart hotels, everything is controlled by a simple personalized tablet. From controlling room temperature, to room service orders, by text replacing landlines, rooms have Netflix and apple TV, and Li-Fi (Internet connection through lights) replacing WiFi.

Nowadays, technology has a big impact in hotel. One of the examples of this smart hotel is the Henn-na Hotel in Japan, which is the world first hotel staffed by robots.” Henn” means “change” which represents the commitment for evolution. The staffs of the hotel are robots that can speak multi-lingual, and helps guest to check in and check out to the hotel, by using the wireless connectivity. And by just registering your face through their face recognition system you will be free from hassle of losing or carrying your room keys. And smart walls can entertain guests with the games, provide news and weather reports, and provide map to local shops, museums, and restaurants. And in terms of business meetings, designers must find a creative ways to incorporate more designs to facilitate virtual meetings. This is one of the reasons that it is trendy and unique from others, because of its very convenient way of helping and satisfying guest experience.

What is it really all about?

Technology has a big impact in hospitality industry; they help every establishment to attract more of guests and added up a most memorable guest’s experience. In my opinion the idea of smart hotel is not just about pressing an iPad or tablet to close a curtain, turn off and on the television and lights, it’s about accessing information in order to have a better experience in your trip. For example, smart hotel should be able to deliver information about the location wherein a guest will go to stay to create an experience. And based on my research, the goal of a smart hotel must not be just the accommodations but the experience as well, because the satisfaction when we were in a trip is from when we explore the destination. This is what really interests you. Most and foremost a smart hotel must be affordable from any type of travelers, whether you are from a low to mid income person.

As we all know the goal of technology should be making our lives better. And the concept of a smart hotel should be for a guest to have a very convenient life and experience wherever they go, and have a more fulfilling experience.
