GUYS ! AM I THE ONLY ONE LOSING MY MIND OVER THIS ?
In the latest episode with our dear Merfolks, we got quite a revelation as Mr. Woodβs boss Erika (who is VERY likely a Huntress) said she was working in the Marina branch of N.D. Corporation.
If initially, through Mercuryβs story, I mostly theorized that N.D.Corp belonged to GIALE. But Erika being a Huntress and working at the N.D.Corp proves that itβs likely the opposite ! N.D.Corp might belong to the HUNTERS which makes much more sense and at the same time, doesn't.
If the Hunters are an organisation whose main goal is to reveal to the World the existence of the supernatural AND eradicate it. Why employ elves like the one Mercury saw ?!
Well, my theory is that the conflict is MUCH bigger than what we initially thought !
What if the Hunters are on a βTruceβ with the elves (which could explain why they employ them and not kill them or turn them into slaves) in exchange for information (like, how they learned that Mer-blood can extend their lives) ?
The question would be βwhy would the elves do that ? They donβt benefit from it.β And the answer would be in the history they have with humanity.
The Worlds separated BECAUSE of the war between Elves and Humans. What if the Elves are using the Hunters to try and start another war ? So that humanity gets basically eradicated on the battlefield and the Elves can just⦠Come finish the job and reclaim Earth for themselves.
With how the theme of βa war might break out if we do nothingβ is always coming back (example with Sky vs Hunters or Zef vs Mr. Wood) this is a possibility, Obi isnβt known for his lack of attention to details, foreshadowing and cliffhangers after all. (I'm onto you Obi π«΅π»)
And if a War breaks out, this actually (but it is far fetched) could explain why the Earth became inhospitable for humanity forcing them to embark on a journey to Space with the Valeerean Voyager.
Please tell me that I'm not the only one with theories since that episode ! (Because I read the comment under the video and besides Serafin's whole bakery, I haven't seem much else lol π€£).
