That's it! So I found a local flower field right away, taking our little soldier to see the flowers he missed.

The little blue-purple flower in the photo is Echium vulgare (also known as viper's bugloss and blueweed). I found online that in various cultures, Viper's Bugloss has been seen as a symbol of resilience and protection. The flower's ability to thrive in poor soils and challenging conditions made it a metaphor for endurance. European traditions particularly hold this flower in high regard, associating it with bravery in the face of adversity.

For example, when BB talked to you in the store on shift 2 where you defend BB while still being able to calm Lane down, Laly gave us two options to answer regarding how BB feels about Lane. Either you agree with BB, or you voice your own thoughts and stand your ground on how you feel about Lane.

This happens because before that, you have the option to take BB's side completely or take BB's side while still confronting Lane. So here, if you pick to follow how BB feels after you've already confronted Lane earlier, it likely refers to how BB's opinions and words can actually influence and affect your own judgment.

Another example is how he talks to MC about Lane when MC and BB meet again at the SLM garage on the route where you didn't give BB your number. He also makes a comment about MC visiting Lane's place to get the key. His words stay true, real and honest.

He doesn't manipulate you in a way where he sugarcoats anything. Instead, he hits you with that harsh reality and calls out how MC can sometimes be a pushover and let people walk all over her.

With someone who has low self-esteem, struggles with self-doubt and anxiety, plus has some psychological issues, it's really easy to persuade them to start rethinking things because what he says is very logical.

"Are you serious about hanging out with those people who disrespect you and push you around all the time?"

Even when MC does defend Lane in those situations because she knows Lane isn't serious about being mean or cruel, her subconscious would still take in what BB's told her and give her a "divided opinion" on certain things.

So that's the manipulation tactic BB would use, and Laly did say he's very sneaky. His logical sense and words tend to leave people with no room to argue. When you put yourself in that situation, you'd think that he didn't do anything and that he's just saying things, making whether you decide to stop associating with certain people 100% on you.

Laly also answered that if MC likes Amy or something like that, he'd have a more subtle way to separate her from Amy, which includes manipulation. So I can imagine he'll use the same tactic and method in that situation.

After all, that's why manipulation is considered so dangerous. It exists in many forms and ways, and most of the time you don't even realize you're being manipulated.

It's really hard to detect a manipulator just based on their personality or the way they speak, because there are people who have a very casual nature and a sensible way of talking, and they know how to use it to their advantage to manipulate people. You can actually see this a lot in salespeople, especially those selling practical products or top sales reps with a large customer base. They're very persuasive without having to use overly obvious tactics or talk too much, as it just comes naturally to them.

If my theory about BB knowing way more about MC than we currently know or assume is correct, then it's fair to say that manipulating MC isn't really a difficult task for him at all.

MC simply having her own life wouldn't make BB want to control her. Because of that, he'd never intentionally put MC in the same position Niki was in.

In his mind, he'd believe he and Bear are nothing alike, so MC would never end up in the same situation with him.

First, let me project based on BB. We know BB isn't the type who's horny 24/7, and he very rarely jerks off. Laly also said he'd rather take it out on you, and when he does get horny, it tends to be really intense.
