There’s only three more days until the debut album from UK Pop Punk act Trash Boat is released.

Nothing I Write You Can Change What You’ve Been Through already has a lot of promise to it. Starting off, the record was produced by Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years who also featured on the lead single ‘Strangers’. The far more aggressive second single ‘How Selfish I Seem’ also left an impact.

Today the third single, ‘The Guise of a Mother’, was released alongside a video. The video features some live footage from their recent tour with  Less Than Jake as well as their appearances at Slam Dunk Festival.

Those disappointed by the fact that PUP will only be joining Moose Blood for the mainland Europe dates of their Autumn tour are in luck, as the Canadian punks have announced a UK tour of their own.

The shows kick off on August 29th in Norwich and carry on through September, ending in an appearance for the band at Bestival on September 11th.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now.

We’ve still got a little over two months before Moose Blood are set to release their highly anticipated sophomore record, Blush, but luckily the boys have released another new song today.

The track, titled ‘Knuckles’, is the second to be released from Blush so far, behind lead single ‘Honey’ which premiered back in April along with the album’s announcement.

It’s been over two years since The Wonder Years headlined a show in the UK, and today they announced four very intimate dates to put an end to that.

The shows will take place at the end of July, with two being held in England, one in Wales and one in Scotland.

Swindon based band Rain, premiered a new song and video today.

The band have bought forward their own blend of genres like shoegaze, lo-fi and punk in their discography so far. ‘Solis’ is the first material of theirs to be released since their debut EP Symphony Pains earlier this year through Essex based label Close To Home Records.

Welcome to Up and Coming, a new feature here on Mixtape Press that focuses on smaller bands who deserve to have the word spread about them.

Our first Up and Coming band is British emo three-piece Pet Library. The band bring forward their take on the twinkly/math rock genre in a country where very few are taking a crack at it.

The band, consisting of George Milner, Conor Mulhern and Tim Anderson, come across very blunt in their lyrics. There’s not so many metaphors as there are lines explicitly detailing the emotion felt when writing.

A demo was recorded and released by the band earlier this year, which you can check out below:

However, we recommend the best place to start would be the band’s new single, ‘Accidents’. The track is taken from their debut EP The Corners Of My Eyes Hold The Most Vivid Visions, which is due out next month. Watch the video for the track below:

Today Somos premiered a new video for ‘Problem Child’.

The track is taken from the four-piece’s brilliant sophomore record First Day Back, which was released in February through Hopeless Records.

Canadian punk band PUP are streaming their new record ahead of this Friday’s release date.

The Dream Is Over is the much anticipated follow up to the four-piece’s debut self title album, which was released back in 2014.

Ahead of Friday’s release date, Tiny Moving Parts’ are currently streaming their new album, Celebrate, in full.

The album is the bad’s third full length effort behind, This Couch Is Long & Full Of Friendship and Pleasant Living.

Before now, the three-piece had released three songs from the ten-track effort, ‘Happy Birthday’, ‘Headache’ and ‘Common Cold’.

The UK’s own Moose Blood are heading overseas to play their first headlining tour in America in July, and now they’ve confirmed who’ll they’ll be bringing along with them.

First joining them is Can’t Swim, who put out their first EP Death Deserves A Name in February through Pure Noise Records. Second is label mates Young and Heartless, whose new album Stay Away came out in March through Hopeless Records. We would seriously recommend heading out to a show early to check these new talents out.

Side project of The Wonder Years’ frontman, Dan Campbell, Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties have premiered the final song from their new EP.

Bittersweet is due out next Friday, and having premiered ‘67′ Cherry Red’ and ‘Green Like The G Train, Green Like Seafoam’ already, ‘Goodbye, Carolina Blues’ is the last song to be released.
