Y'know, i never THOUGHT of it, i always assumed that "the blackness" was part of his body, just like people usually assume he has hooves and is noseless (he doesnt have the "structute", but he has the nostrils), but... Now that you mentioned, i never saw it like that before, but now, I'M HONESTLY NOT SURE WHAT TO THINK!!! 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😆😆😆😆😆
Oh buddy, yeah there's a whole debate about it lolol, personally I'm team demon arms. I just think it's cool and it makes more sense to me than Lucifer wearing long gloves underneath his suit.
Also the arguments about the gloves are inconsistent too. People mostly think they're gloves because of this picture in the background
and this other, blink-and-you'll-miss-it frame
So, my problem with this is, 1), these frames go by super quickly, the picture is literally just in the background for a bit, Lucifer is supposed to be wearing what is now Charlie's suit, so I feel like honestly they could be animation errors, Hazbin doesn't have many but it DOES have a couple of those lol. And 2), if they're supposed to be long gloves as shown in the last episode, why are they short gloves in the second screenshot??? Are they long or not??? This is why I'm more inclined to believe how he looks in episode 8, because there clearly the intention was that his arms had to be colored grey.
Sure, they could STILL be long gloves in episode 8 I guess, but it doesn't make much sense to wear long gloves with Lucifer's suit, and I don't really have any reason to believe that Lucifer would just randomly decide to wear a complete, proper suit in a way that makes sense..... except for long gloves.
And ultimately, hey, there isn't a ZERO chance that they're gloves, but I still think the black arms are much cooler, so that's what I'm gonna do lol
